We all at some point have met that person who lives and breathes the community they live in. It’s almost more noticeable now with social media, because even when I can’t make a ton of events here in Central Florida, I have that one friend that I see on Instagram that made it to five or six in one day. I think... "how does she do that?". But I know why. It’s because she loves the Central Florida community and takes every moment to enjoy it and give back.
In the early days of Miami Beach, one could say that was Rose Weiss. She gave back in ways few others were willing to do - and it was because she saw a need. It’s why she’s been affectionately called “The Mother of Miami Beach.”
